Screening is a vital preliminary process in waste water treatment plants as well as industrial water treatment.

Eflo offer a range of screen including rotating drum, step and rake types. In addition, Eflo offer a gully hook screen.

Varying screen openings are available to suit customer demands. All are automated in the screening and cleaning operations.

In most cases, care is taken to eliminate rotating parts below the water level in order to minimise maintenance issues. A long service life is ensured due to the stainless steel construction.

Whenever screenings are captured there is always the requirement for dewatering and conveying of the screenings. Eflo offer a modular screw conveyor in two diameters with a total length of up to 20m being possible.

The conveyor employs a shaftless screw housed within a stainless steel structure.

As the trash is discharged from the screens, it is important that it is dewatered and compacted prior to conveying to the skips. Eflo offer a simple dewatering screw press to perform this duel action. The discharge of the screw press can be elevated directly to a skip or to a conveyor system described above.
