Reverse Osmosis System
De-ioniser
5000 m3 per day Reverse Osmosis System as part of a Produced Water Treatment System working in the oil field
Industry faces increasing costs in the purchase of process water and in the disposal costs of waste water. Novel and traditional technologies increasingly make industrial waste water treatment and water re-use economic options.
Water re-use is applicable to nearly all industries with high water consumption including, manufacturing, metal finishing, mining, paper mills, cosmetic/pharmaceutical, textile, oil as well as agriculture and food processing.
Pre-treatment prior to discharge to sewer is common practice to reduce the ever increasing municipal costs. Waste water treatment and re-use can break the reliance on municipal services. Treated water quality will be specified by the client but producing boiler quality water or better is well within the capabilities of the Eflo equipment.
Treatment to Minimise Discharge Costs would include the following treatment processes:
EFLO SAF – Submerged Aerated Filter
EFLO MBR – Membrane Bioreactor
EFLO SEP - Free Oily Water Separators
EFLO EC - Electro Coagulation for oily water emulsion breaking and COD reduction
EFLO DAF – Dissolved Air Floatation
These products will clean up industrial waste waters to low levels of contamination and suitable for discharge to sewer without attracting high municipal charges.
Further Treatment to a quality for Water Re-Use would require additional processes, in particular, membrane technologies such as Reverse Osmosis. Typically, these tertiary processes will produce "boiler quality" water.
Eflo's parent company, Corodex Industries designs and manufactures these tertiary systems and they can be integrated with the Eflo systems in order to meet client water quality specifications.
